Dr. Fengshan Zhu is an owner and president In Amasia Acupuncture & Herbs Center.
Dr. Fengshan Zhu was a world-renowned professor and doctor in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine at Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (LN.U.T.C.M) in China before being invited to the United State as a visiting Scholar in 1996. - Dr. Fengshan Zhu is a nationally and Washington State and California State certified and licenses acupuncturist and herbalist. And he is professor at Amasia Acupuncture College in Seattle, State of Washington.
Dr. Fengshan Zhu's training began during his youth in 1968 in China, when he mentored under the tutelage of his uncles who practiced both acupuncture and herbs. He later completed his undergraduate study of T. C. M. at the famous Liaoning University of T. C. M. in 1974 in China. Additionally, he has the honorable distinction of participating in the first master program ever offered in China in T. C. M. in 1979-1982.
Dr. Fengshan Zhu has held the distinguished positions of professor and Chief physician of the Department of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine at the prestigious teaching hospital, University of T. C. M. in Liaoning of China; Secretary General of China’s Northeast Association of Acupuncture and Meridian Research; Director of China’s Society for Special Acupuncture Therapy; Director of the Institute of Chinese Herbs and Immune therapy in ShenYang of China; and Editor of < The Clinical Acupuncture Magazine > and < Chinese Acupuncture Periodical >. He has traveled, taught and practiced worldwide throughout his career, in countries such as Kuwait, New Zealand, Malaysia, Japan, as well as Singapore, Thailand and in various cities throughout the United States. In 1996, he received the distinguished Gold Medal Award from the World Health Organization in New York for his extraordinary work in acupuncture and herbs and published 8 books in professional field. He is academic achievements “Contemporary Famous Doctors of T. C. M ” 1990 and “The Collection of World Famous Doctors” 1996. Dr. Zhu has been given two awards by the Chinese government for his achievements in medical research.
